"NEVER store your blades in hard guards - they hold moisture and are an almost guaranteed rust job." Guards are for protection while walking, and soakers are for protection during storage.

Sharpening

If you're looking for the right place to get your blades sharpened, we know just the place! Make an appointment over at Ice Rink Engineering, who has been offering this service since 1962. The staff there offers most any type service for boots/blades and are constantly sharpening blades with all custom radius concaves.  This service is provided to a wide range of clients including local skaters. In some cases they are able to complete a sharpening while the person waits!

 

You or your skaters just need to call ahead to make an appointment or set time. All services we perform must be paid with cash or check - Credit cards will no longer be accepted.  Write checks out to Tami Crane and for cash, please provide exact change.  

Skate sharpening is $16.00 per pair
